Sabrina Crisóstome was 3rd at Under10 Gross and Rodrigo Correia was 2nd at Under12 Gross
The “Drive Challenge” Circuit concluded, 29th October 2023, in Jamor, with the participation of four Regional Champion players from each of the seven zones (North, Center, Tagus, South, Madeira, Azores – São Miguel and Azores – Terceira). The Under-10, Under-12, Under-14, Under-18 and Under-24 titles were contested, as well as the Team titles.
The National Final was played at the Jamor National Golf Training Center, over 18 holes (in the case of the Under-10s, over just 9 holes). The first three classified “Gross” and the first three “Medal Net” in each category were awarded prizes, with the prizes not being cumulative, with the “Gross” prize prevailing over the “Net”.
For the Team classification, the sum of the eight best “Gross” results among the ten representatives from the various regions was counted. The team from the South was champion, with 545 shots, six shots ahead of the team from the North and 16 shots less than the team from the Center. Madeira, Tagus and Azores-Terceira followed. The Azores-São Miguel team was not counted, as it did not have the minimum of eight players.
