Martim Johansen win at Oporto Golf Club
Martim Johansen and Amélia Gabin win the 2nd Aquapor Circuit Tournament

Martim Johansen (Vilamoura) beat Bernardo Pinheiro (Miramar) in the play-off to win the 2nd Aquapor Circuit Tournament, held this weekend at Oporto Golf Club. In the women's competition, Amélia Gabin (Quinta do Lago Association) repeated her triumph from the 1st Tournament. Francisca Rocha (Oporto) was runner-up.
Martim and Bernardo were always neck and neck on the Espinho course, with a Par 71: they were leading after the first round, on Saturday, with an excellent score of 67 strokes and remained tied at the front by recording 71 on the second, this Sunday, for a total of 138 (-4).
Then Martim made birdie on the first playoff hole, played on the 18th (Par 5), to win the title.
Bernardo had already come second in the 1st Tournament, in Penina, on January 19, in a competition won by João Pereira (Aroeira).
National champion Miguel Cardoso (72-69) and Pedro Mendes (70-71), both from Oporto, shared third place with 141 (-1).
Afonso Rui Oliveira (Aroeira), Guilherme Moreira (Porto) and João Crasi Alves (Vilamoura) closed the top-5 with 143 (+1).
The men's event had 69 competitors.
In Women, with 18 participants, Amélia Gabin won again, as had happened in the 1st Tournament.
With scores of 74-75, for a total of 149 (+7), the Portuguese international won with a five-stroke advantage over Francisca Rocha (78-76), who was second with 154 (+12).
Luciana Reis (Architects) and Teresa Alves (Porto) shared third place with 158 (+16).
The 3rd Aquapor Circuit Tournament will be played on the 5th and 6th of April at Santo Estêvão Golfe.
