Luca Lopes, with 2 strokes over the par, was in 2nd place with 74 strokes in the 5th Cashback World Circuit Tournament that took place on November 17th and 18th at Aroeira II, in Fonte da Telha, Almada. The winner was Daniel da Costa Rodrigues, of Miramar, with 72 strokes and the winner female was Maia Samuelsson, from Assoc. Quinta do Lago.
More than a part of the Vilamoura Golf Club management, Mr. John Russell was a friend of the club, a friend of all members and golfers, a great enthusiast and supporter of the work achieved within the golf school. He was a passionate of the sport and all through his life, he did a lot for its development, in Vilamoura and in the Algarve in particular but also in the rest of Portugal.
Two 3rd places in the Under16 by Jamie Mann and in the Under14 by Henrique Rebelo was the results of the players of Vilamoura in the 5th Circuit Drive Tournament Tour that took place, October 20th and 21th, at Bom Sucesso, at Óbidos.
